A new survey rated Israel as the ninth worst OECD country in the world when it comes to sustainable – as in green friendly – business startups. The worst country on the list was Mexico, and Israel ranked only just behind the U.S.

Switzerland came in at number one, followed by the UK and Sweden.
Israel had a sustainability (environmentally responsible) rate of just 4.1 out of 10. (The U.S. score was 4.36 and Mexico’s was 2.) For comparison, Switzerland’s score was 7.81 and the UK’s was 7.08.
