Founded in 2021, Cyviation is a cybersecurity company that focuses on protecting aircraft communication vulnerabilities in the air and on the ground. Their mission is to mitigate ever-growing and menacing cybersecurity threats focusing on aircraft, airlines, and airports.
Cyviation offers a variety of solutions to help airlines and private jet operators protect their aircraft, including Fleet Cyber Risk Assessment – a continuous, non-intrusive fleet assessment module for evaluating and mapping aircraft vulnerabilities and Airborne Cybersecurity – IDS (Intrusion Detection System) for cockpit communication and networks and IDPS for entertainment devices.
The firm also offers Cyber Training & Education and cyber incident management that enables airlines to manage cyber incidents by the CISOs and aircrew and to identify, manage and mitigate compromised aircraft.
Cyviation’s Chairman Arik Arad commented on why the firm’s service is so important saying, “It’s not a question of if, but when an aircraft will fall prey to a cyber-attack. We must consistently remain ahead of attackers, anticipating and neutralizing threats before they manifest.”
