Guardz, an Israeli cybersecurity startup, has come out of stealth with a $10 million Seed funding led by Hanaco Ventures, with participation from iAngels, GKFF Ventures, and Cyverse Capital. It is interesting that a cybersecurity firm would describe itself as coming out of “stealth.” But what is certainly in no way extraordinary is that yet another such firm has come out of Israel Startup Nation.
So, at least some companies are still able to bring in the money in these tough times. The worldwide financial crisis has forced companies everywhere to make cutbacks, even Meta-Facebook. And it has been harder for startups to bring in funding. But Israeli cybersecurity firms seem to be immune to such problems as new cybersecurity tech is always in demand.
This is, however, not so much when compared to the $53 million raised so far by fellow Israeli startup Sentra. But still, $10 million is nothing to scoff at.

Founded in 2022, Guardz declares that the company exists to help businesses go from “zero cyber protection to having the right security and coverage in place in the most simple, efficient and affordable way. Guardz secures and insures your business, so you can focus on building it.”
“Hackers are acutely aware of small businesses’ cyber vulnerabilities; nowadays, it’s not a matter of if they’ll be targeted, but when,” said Dor Eisner, CEO and Co-Founder of Guardz. “Our complete solution helps companies with lean IT, as well as MSPs, to combat these rising threats, and we’ve already witnessed tremendous results with the hundreds of small businesses currently secured by Guardz.”
Guardz is made for small and growing businesses – It combines the “cutting-edge cyber security technologies” they need into one and re-engineers it to fit the evolving needs of today’s small businesses whether they are in healthcare, law, IT, transportation, manufacturing, or any other sector.
It delivers it all through an intuitive interface anyone can easily deploy and master in minutes, eliminating the burden of managing multiple security solutions as well as the hurdles to getting cyber insurance.
Guardz boasts that it also makes cyber insurance accessible to small businesses who were previously ineligible due to a lack of comprehensive cybersecurity protection. Guardz says that with its service “small businesses can rest easy knowing they’re protected against the top attack vectors, including cloud applications, web browsing, cyber awareness, devices, emails, and compromised data.”
