Children know their gender identity "from the womb."

A film made by one of the best children’s hospitals in the country says that some children know their gender identity before they are born.

According to the Daily Mail, a video titled “Caring for young transgender children,” was uploaded in August by Boston Children’s Hospital to its YouTube channel, where the psychologist Dr. Kerry McGregor explains that many children know their gender identity “from the womb.” According to the psychologist, those children are seen at the hospital’s Gender MultiSpecialty Service (GeMS) clinic.

In the video, Dr. McGregor explains that some toddlers communicate their gender identity as soon as they can speak. They might say, ‘I’m a girl’ or ‘I’m a boy,’ she explains.

“Children know very early on,” the expert asserts. We typically see young children as early as 2 and 3 years old and as old as nine.

According to Fox News, Children’s National Hospital, the Harvard-affiliated hospital, recently deleted the first of-its-kind program that offered “gender-affirming treatment” to “gender-diverse children, adolescents, and young adults.” The GeMS clinic provided “physical and psychological assessment, ongoing medical care, and additional referrals as needed” for children aged 0 to 21. The program no longer offers those treatments because it has been archived and removed from the website.
