Iran reported this morning (Tuesday) that gunmen shot and killed an Iranian engineer and his assistant before escaping away. The victim is a senior engineer in the Iranian defense industry.
In one month, six Iranian engineers were killed in mysterious ways. Three days ago, Iranian media linked to the opposition the death of an officer in the Air and Space Arm of the Revolutionary Guards. An obituary was then published in Iran for the officer and Father Premarzian.
Last week, a fighter in the Revolutionary Guards Aviation and Space Unit, named Ali Kamimi, was reported killed in a car accident while on a mission in the eastern city of Khomeini. A few weeks ago, it was reported that two Iranian scientists associated with aerospace and nuclear projects were found lifeless. One of the scientists, Dr. Ayub Antzari, was reportedly poisoned to death by a man who managed to escape from the country.
