Maybe Donald Trump really needs the money to cover all of his legal expenses. In case you just back from a trip to Mars, the former president is beset by countless legal problems these days ranging from civil suits to criminal investigations. Just yesterday, Trump needed to pay a $110,000 court fine for a contempt citation.
The contempt charge was imposed on Donald Trump by Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron because the former president failed to turn over a number of subpoenaed documents. And if Trump continues to refuse the lawful over to supply the court with the documents and turn them over by this Friday then it will re-impose a $10,000 a day fine.
