Marc Benioff Expects Salseforce to Hit $32 Billion in Sales

Mark Benioff also spoke out on the current crisis in Ukraine. His ancestors came from there.

Mark Benioff, the billionaire entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Salesforce, expects the company will come out of the Covid Crisis stronger than ever and will even break the $32 billion mark in sales in 2023.

Appearing on the CNBC show Mad Money on Tuesday, Mark Benioff told the host Jim Cramer that the end of 2021 was “an extraordinary quarter, maybe the best quarter we’ve ever had, and you can really see it not just in the quarterly guidance, but where we’re looking for next fiscal year.”

“We’re leaving the $20 billions behind, and the $30 billions are now ahead of us,” he added.

The same day that Mark Benioff spoke those words Salesforce stock shot up by 3%. This came after a three month period of poor performance from the stock. The company has reported $6 billion for fiscal 2022 so far, up 25% year over year. And Salesforce is expecting $26.49 billion in total for fiscal 2022.

Salesforce is an American cloud-based software company headquartered in San Francisco, California. That provides customer relationship management (CRM) services. It also offers clients enterprise applications focused on customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development. The 57 year old Marc Benioff was born in San Francisco in 1964. He was raised Jewish and is the second cousin of television writer and producer David Benioff who is most famous for the hit show “Game of Thrones.”
