A few years ago a vodka company promoted its vodka as being high quality, but also affordable. So, how did they do that?

Well, it was the holiday season, when Hanukkah and Christmas fall out at about the same time. In New York City they posted billboards around town for their vodka that read, “Christmas quality vodka at Hanukkah prices.” Jews, of course, were not amused. The company quickly took down the billboards.

Well, Hanukkah Fails Instagram gives us p0lenty such examples.

Try “Gobble Tov” for years like this year when Thanksgiving falls out just before Hanukkah.

Believe it or not, someone is selling a Santa Clause doll where Santa wears a Talit and holds a Menorah. A store is selling pieces of beef cut into the shapes of menorahs and dreidels.

“There’s no “right way” to spell Hanukkah in English, but now I know there is definitely a wrong way. Happy Hanuhhah, folks!”

Or how about the “Christmakah” sweater. This sweater is a cardigan with Christmas stuff on the right side and Hanukkah decorations on the left. It is shown with a half blue and half red tie with both Jewish stars and images of Santa Clause on it.

And on that note, who decided that if Christmas colors are green and red then Hanukah colors are blue and white?

One store put out a special display for Hanukah candles and other holiday goodies, complete with a selection of yahrzeit candles. These are the large 24 hour candles that people light on holidays to remember their lost relatives.

Or maybe try the Hanukah blanket:
