Donald Trump has found the answer to having been banned by the major social media platforms like Twitter. The former president has established his own form of Twitter called Truth.
Truth comes from Trump’s new company Trump Media & Technology Group which will soon be a publicly traded company. The company values itself at $875 Million. Truth is expected to launch in the next few months.

Truth is an ironic name coming from a man like Donald Trump. Trump was banned by Twitter because of his inability to speak the truth. Since the problems of fake news over the years were exacerbated by false information being spread about the Coronavirus, Twitter, Facebook and the rest cracked down on the content that their users share. The services either place warnings on things like links to questionable news sources, or they censor the content all together. Some people have even been suspended and blocked from social media services.
Donald Trump was banned by Twitter after he continued to lie about the results of the 2020 presidential elections. Trump made numerous unsubstantiated claims that the election was stolen, as well as direct accusations of fraud in the vote counting that had no basis in fact.
In a failed attempt to get the federal courts to order Twitter to reinstate him, Trump’s lawyers also made some unfounded allegations themselves. “Coerced by members of the United States Congress, operating under an unconstitutional immunity granted by a permissive federal statute, and acting directly with federal officials, Defendant is censoring Plaintiff, a former President of the United States,” read Trump’s motion.
So, Donald Trump has now gone for almost an entire year without being able to spew his personal attacks on anyone who disagrees with him over social media. The entire world knows that he is going nuts over this. The man is simply incapable of controlling his urges to defame anyone that he does not like at any moment of the day using social media.
So this is the real reason behind his establishing Truth. But in the announcement of his new service, Trump gave some different reasons.
“I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable,” Trump said in a statement.
“I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon. TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I’m excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech. Everyone asks me why doesn’t someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!” he said.
