Proud Boys and QAnon Dump Trump

Trump left taxpayers on the hook for millions in security protection for family members.

Donald Trump has been abandoned by some of his biggest supporters: QAnon and Proud Boys people. They were visibly absent from inauguration day protests and have been somewhat silent about President Biden so far. And Donald Trump also stiffed American taxpayers on the way out the door by way of extended Secret Service Protection for His Kids.

The Proud Boys which used to post on Telegram things like “Hail Emperor Trump” are now posting “Trump will go down as a total failure.” According to the New York Times the group has also referred to Mr. Trump as a “shill” and “extraordinarily weak.” The paper explains that the Proud Boys now feel betrayed because President Trump had promised them that he would “stop the steal” and never leave office. Now that he has left Washington they “believe he has both surrendered and failed to do his patriotic duty.”

Many now former Trump supporters are disappointed over who he did not choose to pardon. Politico sighted one white supremacist QAnon Trump supporter as lamenting on social media, “So just to recap: Trump will pardon Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, high profile Jewish fraudsters … No pardons for middle class whites who risked their livelihoods by going to ‘war’ for Trump.”

One MAGA supporter posted on the website TheDonald.Win, “It’s all been a con from the start. Promises made and not kept. You sat on your butt waiting for someone else to do what everyone should have taken care of themselves.”

“There’s a lot of grief and confusion in Q world over the plan seeming to fizzle out, and feeling as if Q abandoned them,” Mike Rothschild, a disinformation researcher working on a book about QAnon, told POLITICO. “But I think that will very quickly turn into determination to continue down the path they’ve committed to.”

This may be why no one showed up in the end to all of those protests against Joe Biden’s inauguration called for in state capitols across the country.

It’s not unlike when a false prophet and cult leader is uncovered to be a fraud by his followers when they see that he cannot really walk on water or only cares about the money. Think about what happened three hundred year ago when the false Messiah Shbatai Tzvi promised to lead Jews back to Israel, only to convert to Islam after he was captured by the Turks.

Meanwhile the Washington Post reported that 13 members of Donald Trump’s family will receive Secret Service protection for six more months.

A President’s family does not usually continue to receive such protection after he has left office. Exceptions have been made when there are immediate credible threats to their safety. Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama extended such protections to their daughters after leaving office. But they were still college age at those times and the extension never went to more than two people at the same time. None of this is the case with the Trump family.

According to Forbes, during the period of February and March of 2017 $390,000 was spent by the government just to protect Donald Trump’s family and their spouses on trips. So triple that to $1.2 million for the total expense over a six month period.

And the Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner can be expected to make many more trips per month now that they no longer work at the White House. And any business trips which they now make will be covered; even though, they will no longer be travelling for the American government’s behalf and only for their own sakes.

Also, it is not like Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump do not have plenty of money to take care of themselves.
