Israeli Model Yael Shelbia to Grace Cover of Arab Fashion Magazine L’Officiel Arabia

Yael Shelbia will be the first Israeli model to appear on the cover of L’Official Arabia, a prominent Arab fashion and culture magazine based in Dubai. The magazine is printed in English and will also focus entirely on Israeli fashion designers and artists like illustrator Talia Zoref in collaboration with New York brand Foxylab, YNET reports.

The 19 year old model flew to New York for a special photo shoot just for this issue. The recent peace agreements between Israel and Arab nations Like Morocco and the United Arab Emirates keep on paying dividends to Israelis. In September Israeli model May Tager joined UAE Model Anastasia for a photo shoot in the UAE. The two wore pajamas in an ad for the Israeli company Fix, but these photos were not shown on an Arab magazine cover.


Born Yael Shelbia Cohens, she has been dating American businessman Brandon Korff son of Rabbi Yitzhak Aharon Korff, and grandson of billionaire Sumner Redstone, since 2019. The couple made headlines in Israel back in June when Korff was deported by the country for violating its Coronavirus quarantine measures by meeting with Yael Shelbia. Brandon Korff was only allowed into the country at the time because his brother was serving in the IDF.

Yael Shelbia and Brandon Korff have been known to hang out in Hollywood with celebrities like kylie Jenner.
