First Daughter Ivanka Trump is not happy with being investigated and forced to be on the other end of a deposition. She kvetched about having to answer charges related to misappropriation of funds for President Trump’s inauguration in January, 2017. Meanwhile little Ivanka is pushing her so called political successes while shamelessly sharing pictures of herself and family in fancy, expensive designer fashions.
The deposition was held as part of an investigation stemming from charges made in January by the Washington, D.C., attorney general’s office claiming that in 2017 the Presidential Inauguration Committee (PIC) misused more than $1 million of its funding. A civil suit brought by local authorities over the matter centers on claims that the committee willfully paid exorbitant fees to the President’s own Trump International Hotel.
On that deposition Ivanka Trump angrily tweeted, “This week I spent 5+ hours in a deposition with the Democrat D.C. AG’s office where they questioned the rates charged by the Trump Hotel at the inauguration. I shared with them an email from 4 years ago where I sent instructions to the hotel to charge “a fair market rate” (see below) which the hotel then did,” she wrote in the statement. This ‘inquiry’ is another politically motivated demonstration of vindictiveness & waste of taxpayer dollars.”

Washington, D.C., Attorney General Karl Racine responded in an interview on MSNBC saying, “With all due respect to Ivanka Trump, what she put out today was highly misleading, and at best, part of the story.”
And on CNN he said, “The Trump admin. and…the Trump family, has sought to profit from the White House. We have developed compelling evidence that shows that the presidential inauguration committee was used as a piggy bank to deliver money to the Trump Hotel.”

Speculation mounts as to Ivanka Trump’s own future political ambitions. She keeps on placing herself at the center of political achievements while tweeting.
She had nothing to do with the Abraham Accords but Tweeted, “Nice mention of @realDonaldTrump’s Abraham Accords and UN Resolution 1325 – Women, Peace and Security, #WPS which the U.S. was the 1st country in the world to adopt and sign into law under President Trump!”
