L’shanah tovah means ‘for a good year’

Friday night marked the beginning of Rosh Hashanah 2020, the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah translates into “head of the year” in Hebrew. The holiday is one of the most important dates in the Jewish calendar and is thought to be the day God created Adam and Eve.
