By federal law, the SCRA gives certain protections to those military personnel who are on active duty status. For instance, these include protection from eviction and repossession without an order from the court. The SRCA also makes it mandatory that there should be a 6% interest on loans for the members of the military armed forces.
You can retrieve information on a veteran’s military service records from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Unfortunately, it is not that easy to get a hold of military records.
