John McAfee, the founder of the software company and the McAfee antivirus maker, says he has spoken to Bitcoin’s anonymous creator and plans to reveal his identity. The founder of bitcoin is known as Satoshi Nakamoto, and many believe that the person behind the name died because that Nakamoto million bitcoins, at a current price of $ 5.6 billion, were of no use for ten years.
But McAfee says the bitcoin is still alive and that Nakamoto is a man who lives in the US. “I talked to him and he is not happy that I’m trying to expose him,” McAfee said in a phone interview to Bloomberg from the Bahamas. “All my life I’ve found people who are the best in their fields and hide their identity. To find Satoshi was a child’s game for me,” he said.

But McAffy later retracted and wrote on Twitter that the publication of Nakamoto’s identity could lead to his extradition to the United States – he is wanted for suspected involvement in a murder several years ago in Belize, a Central American country where he lived.
McAfee tweeted a letter from Mario Gray, the lawyer handling his extradition campaign, and wrote that “exposing my identity now may affect my case and endanger me with extradition, and I can not risk it.”
In recent years, McAffy has been investing in digital currencies and promoting them for a fee in his Twitter account. He also announced that he is running for president in the US in the 2020 elections.
