El Al to launch Tel Aviv – San Francisco flights

El Al plans operating three weekly flights with the new Dreamliner aircraft. United Airlines introduced direct Tel Aviv – San Francisco flights in 2015.

El Al Israel Airlines plans direct flights between Tel Aviv – San Francisco in the fourth quarter of 2018. In an announcement, the Israeli carrier says that the new route is part of its strategic goal to expand its network of routes to North America.

Alongside New York (JFK and Newark), Los Angeles, Boston, Miami and Toronto, San Francisco will become EL AL’s sixth destination in North America.
