Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp true story Script Lands at Amazon

“Linda and Monica,” a true story follows the crazy time when the most powerful man in America, Clinton, was playing sex with a 22-year-old intern, Lewinsky.

Amazon Studios has acquired rights to a script detailing the relationship between Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp.

“Linda and Monica,” true story follows the crazy time when the most powerful man in America, Bill Clinton, was playing sex with a 22-year-old intern, Lewinsky. The real sex scandal that nearly brought down a charming president.

The script by Flint Wainess was on the Black List, Holywood’s top unproduced screenplays for 2016. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists will be on the production.

In a nutshell, while they both worked in public affairs at the Pentagon. Monica Lewinsky and Tripp developed a close relationship. But when Lewinsky put all her trust in her friend and detailed her sexual relationship with President Bill Clinton, Tripp secretly recorded their phone conversations, then outed the sexual relationship and the tapes, which all led to impeachment hearings.

Guess who paid the bill? Not Bill. It was the young girl Monica Lewinsky who paid price for the indiscretion. She was subject to the worst case of ‘slut-shaming’ log before the social network was born.

Hope that this time we will be able to see the story through the eyes of a girl who was in love with the president and let him play the game.
