Is dirty jeans is the new black?
The clothing chain store Nordstrom put on sale “heavily distressed,” muddy jeans for $425 on its web site. The new denim, designed by PRPS, also offers a mud denim jacket. The fashion company offers various of pre-ripped and paint-splattered dungarees models and one they called “Destroyed.”

Critics says this is “a costume for wealthy people who see work as ironic – not iconic”.
But Nordstrom describe the jeans “embody rugged, Americana workwear that’s seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you’re not afraid to get down and dirty.”
And what people have to say on Twitter?
Nietzsche sees us as decadent when our moral system ignores the essential truths of life ie. buying $425 jeans with fake mud from Nordstrom pic.twitter.com/lBhAlB2kjq
