So that’s what Dershowitz did.

Haaretz reports that Dershowitz would not tell the paper about his conversation with Netanyahu, but he did report on his talk with Trump, which came after the supposedly unexpected sighting at Trump’s Florida club.

“The president told me he thinks Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas wants to get a deal with Israel and that he thinks that the time is ripe for a deal and that it is possible,” Dershowitz told Haaretz. He added that Trump said he “loves Israel and likes Netanyahu.”
