Three would-be burglars have been shot and killed by a 19-years-old homeowner’s son who was armed with a AR-15 rifle, an authorities said.
Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 12:30 p.m. Monday from someone inside a home in Broken Arrow, southeast of Tulsa, who said that burglars had broken into the house and that shots had been fired.

Sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Nick Mahoney said the suspects entered the home through a glass back door with the intent to burglarize it. It was not immediately clear why they picked that home.
Mahoney says the men were wearing black clothes, gloves and masks when they forced their way into the house. The owner’s son opened fire after an exchange of words. Two of the suspects died in the kitchen while a third was found in the driveway. He says there’s no reason to believe the son knew the intruders.
