El Al cuts Tel Aviv-Hong Kong route fares to compete Cathay

Tel Aviv-Hong Kong route will launch on March 26 by Cathay Pacific. Hong Kong-based carrier has announced last week  inaugurating a brand new four times per week service of he airline’s direct flights Tel Aviv-Hong Kong route. These flights will be operated by the carrier’s new Airbus A350 aircraft that they just recently began receiving.

The airline is offering an $863 starting price for tourist class seats on its direct flights on certain dates. The regular fare on the route is $1,000-1,100, for example for an early May flight.

By Now El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. is the only airline currently operating direct flights between Tel Aviv-Hong Kong.

The Israeli carrier has announced that next Sunday, it will offer deals for families passengers, including ticket prices and various benefits, such as entry tickets to amusement parks such Ocean Park. Couples offers a free overnight in a hotel for passengers during May-June.

Price starting at $920 up to 1,070 in July-August.
