The blonde bombshell made these revelations in an interview with Variety where she is featured in the magazine’s “Power of Women” issue.

Scarlett Johansson has been a vocal supporter of the Democratic Party for year. She even spoke at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. Scarlett long ago endorsed Hillary Clinton for President.

The actress is especially involved with Planned Parenthood. Johansson spoke at length about the organization and why she fears for it if Donald Trump should win the election.

On Planned Parenthood: “I must have done a campaign for them like a decade ago. I personally have been involved with Planned Parenthood for a long time, since I was a young lady. I’ve used their services. My girlfriends have used their services.”

On Donald Trump: “The funding for Planned Parenthood has been threatened so many times and very aggressively pretty recently. It’s a very real issue that we’re facing. I have a lot of friends that are fiscally conservative. When weighing who to vote for, you really have to think about the whole spectrum — not just your idea of the American economy, but also climate change and issues like a woman’s right to choose.”

But most of Scarlett Johansson’s fans — especially the male ones — do not care about her politics. They want to know about her upcoming movie projects. And the comic book fanboys especially want to know how many more times Scarlett will be seen as the hero Black Widow in the Marvel Universe films.

“I would like for it to happen under the right circumstances, ” said Johansson. “I think there’s a lot of opportunity to mine that story line. She’s got a really rich origins story. There’s a lot of places you can go — you can bring it back to Russia. You could explore the Widow program. There’s all kinds of stuff that you could do with it. You could really uncover the identity of who this person is, where she comes from and where she’s part of.”

Scarlett Johansson also talked about why she agreed to take the part in the first place. Her first appearance as the character was in “Iron Man 2” with Robert Downey Jr. Johannson can next be seen in “Ghost in the Shell, ” based on the popular comic series of the same name which is due out in 2017.
