Mario Balotelli has scored six goals in five appearances for Nice, his new club in France, after a couple of fruitless seasons at Liverpool and having been out on loan at Milan.

Balotelli is now ready to take his place among the top forwards in world football when fully fit, according to his agent Mino Raiola – who is admittedly biased.

Nevertheless Balotelli has reminded critics why he should now be near the top of the list for an attacking position as an international to play for his country.

“Balo has started very well in France, now he needs to continue like that, ” Raiola told Corriere Dello Sport. “We are both more and more satisfied to have chosen Nice.”

According The Guardian, “Together Nice and Balotelli are top of the table. The club are benefitting not only from his presence on the field, but also from the attention. Their man is a cover story every day.”

The super agent went on to add that next year could finally be the 26-year-old realises his potential.

“2017 could be the year of Balotelli. When he is at 100 per cent, he is among the best four forwards in the world. Three of them are mine [Balotelli, Ibrahimovic and Lukaku].”

When Raiola was asked about Paul Pogba, the world’s most expensive player and a client he replied.

“It is normal that it takes a bit of time to adjust to an environment that is so different to Turin. “He will continue to move forward, soon they will notice it in England.”, according to Football-Italia.
