New Daily Show host Trevor Noah paid a visit to The Late Show on Thursday night, and talked to host Stephen Colbert — who began as a correspondent on the Comedy Central satire show before launching its follower The Colbert Report in 2005 — about taking over for longtime host Jon Stewart.
Colbert assumed Late Show hosting duties last week following David Letterman’s departure after more than 20 years in the Ed Sullivan Theater. Noah commiserated with Colbert on the especially big shoes they have to fill.
