The Ashley Madison hack has certainly thrust infidelity into the media spotlight over the past few weeks. Most people affected by the hack were based in the United States or United Kingdom, countries where 84 and 76 percent of people respectively consider an extramarital affair morally unacceptable. Would Ashley Madison make as many headlines if it was a French website? According to Pew Research, France cares about cheating the least, with only 47 percent of people considering an affair morally unacceptable.

According to research conducted by YouGov, one in five British adults has confessed to having an affair. Who do British men and women have affairs with?
