Hamas Catches Dolphin ‘Spying for Israel’

First there was a shark, then a ducks – now dolphins? Dastardly Zionists apparently recruiting dolphins to spy on Hamas in Gaza.

Hamas authorities in Gaza claim to have captured an Israeli “spy dolphin” off the coast of Gaza Wednesday. The Islamist group’s naval unit,  the Ezzedine al-Qassan Brigades, said it captured the mammal with espionage equipment, including cameras,  according to IDF Radio.

Dolphins are believed to be highly intelligent – but this would be the first time a dolphin has been accused of acting as a secret agent. The spying allegations against Israel involving various creatures.

Turkish media have twice before raised allegations that birds tagged with Israeli university tracking devices were on espionage missions.

In 2012 Sudan was captured an eagle with an Israeli tag and touted as a Mossad spy.

In 2010 an Egyptian official said Israel-controlled sharks could be involved in a number of attacks on tourists in the Red Sea.

The Israeli Navy maintains a fleet of Dolphin class submarines. But the Army Radio report made clear that Hamas was talking about a mammal, not a boat.

The event happened several weeks ago.
