NOFX Makes “Happy Fourth of Jew-Lie” Facebook Post

Punk rock band NOFX made a seemingly anti-semitic post on its Facebook page over the 4th of July Weekend. It included a cartoon of what looks like George W. Bush in clown face and the line “Happy Fourth of Jew-Lie.”

Since two of the band’s members are Jews it is not clear what their intent in the post was. But they could have written “Happy Fourth of You-Lie” instead if they did not intend to insult Jews.

In any event, they received thousands of anti-semitic and Nazi comments in response supporting their post, some of which included images of Hitler.

The band has not made any comment to explain their intentions behind the posting.
