Israeli startup Twtrland, which offers customers a social intelligence platform, completed a $1.5 million round of financing from Altair, GIG, and TMT. The company stated that it will use the financing to grow global sales and marketing to meet growing demand for its social intelligence solution for digital marketers. Twtrland is also announcing that it has rebranded as Klear, which it says is to reflect the company’s focus on its analytics solution for digital marketers and its expansion from Twitter to Facebook and Instagram.
Klear is a social intelligence platform which boasts that it helps brands and individuals build their online presence. Klear provides free social media analytical insights to more than 2 million monthly visitors and serves thousands of brands and agencies like IMG, MSL, and McCann.
“Our mission is to measure the social web and make it universally accessible and useful to brands across the world so that companies could effectively use social media to build and enhance their brand in a meaningful way.” says Eytan Avigdor, Chief Executive Officer at Klear. “The new funding will be used to further accelerate business growth by developing the sales and marketing team.”
Klear was initially named Twtrland since the company started out as an analytics tool for Twitter providing insights to users to help them decide whether or not to follow someone. Today, Klear serves thousands of brands and agencies like IMG, MSL, and McCann that use the SaaS for influencer marketing, social monitoring, and competitive analysis. The platform now offers a comprehensive solution for digital marketers and supports some of the most popular social networks.
