Now Google Translate Gets More Advanced

Google Translate

Google Translate has a bad reputation  for spewing out oddly worded and sometimes overly formal results. But the company says that it’s service is better due to help from users.

Mountain View’s on-line translator is superior at figuring out informal speech. It will ask “Is everything alright?” once what you have written in has another meaning of literal translation, as you’ll be able to see below the fold.

Will you offer us a hand? Every gift, regardless of size, fuels our future.
Your critical contribution enables us to maintain our independence from shareholders or wealthy owners, allowing us to keep up reporting without bias. It means we can continue to make Jewish Business News available to everyone.
You can support us for as little as $1 via PayPal at [email protected].
Thank you.

That’s all made possible by the volunteers who spend time translating phrases and checking the standard of different people’s submissions on the Translate community web site.

The company guarantees to include a lot of translations for its service better. Hopefully, that means locals will not cross-check us funny next time we attempt to use it overseas.
