Say it ain’t so James? Sideshow Bob will finally be able to kill Bart Simpson on an upcoming episode of the iconic cartoon “The Simpsons’” 27th season, Entertainment Weekly reported. The show was co-created and is produced by Emmy and Oscar winner James L. Brooks.

Relax Simpson fans. The death will not actually happen. It will just be a part of the show’s annual Halloween Special.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, one of the show’s producers, Al Jean, explained that he got the idea from all of the famous “Road Runner” cartoons. He always wanted to see Wiley Coyote get the Road Runner just once.

“I hated frustration comedy so we’ll scratch that itch, ” Jean told EW.

So if you are the sick sort of person who has rooted for Side Show Bob — voiced by Kelsey Grammar — to kill Bart in his 18 previous appearances on The Simpsons, then you are in luck.
