Amy Schumer continues to build on the success of her comedy variety show “Inside Amy Schumer.” The comic has signed to both write and star in a new comedy film about mother-daughter relationships for Fox.
The raunchy and provocative comic will co-write the screenplay with her sister, Kim Caramele. They will “re-work” a story written by Katie Dippold to fit Schumer’s personality.
The details of the movie’s story, however, have not yet been revealed. Paul Feig is set to produce together with Jessie Henderson from Feigco Entertainment and Chernin Entertainment.
Schumer can next be seen in Judd Apatow’s upcoming comedy called “Trainwreck” which will premiere on July 17th. The movie co-stars Bill Hader.
