Sarah Jessica Parker Promotes her Shoes in Las Vegas

“It was an area of particular interest for me because I’m married, and I love being married, and I’m happily married.”

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker went to Las Vegas to promote her new line of designer shows. The actress also spoke with Melisa Rivers about her new HBO show “Divorce.”

Her new line of shoes is being marketed by Zappos. About the partnership the actress said, “It’s a total privilege. We love this partnership with Zappos Couture, it’s a really big deal for us. To have this muscularity of this particular ecommerce behemoth on our side and to get to tell our story this way and to introduce our brand to this new customer for us. It’s a total thrill.”

Parker posted a picture of herself on Instagram with the caption, “What a thrilling first day in Vegas, and it’s not even over yet. Beyond appreciative for the gracious team at @zappos and @zapposcouture for their warm welcome and hospitality. Come see me this weekend at the @sjpcollection Pop Up Shop at @crystalsLV.”

Meanwhile Parker sat down for an interview on Entertainment Tonight and discussed “Divorce” with Melisa Rivers. About the new show she said, “It was an area of particular interest for me because I’m married, and I love being married, and I’m happily married.”

“I think marriage is wonderfully complicated and wonderfully interesting, and everybody conducts their marriage differently. We know almost nothing about people’s marriage, because even those who we’re most intimate with in friendships, we don’t always share the good or the bad. And I just think that at a certain point, some people feel alone and lost.”

“I think we’re at an age where a lot of people have experienced it, ” Parker added. Or are about to, or want to, or secretly wish they could. Or [are] so grateful that their marriage isn’t at that state, ” Parker said. “And so I love the idea of telling that story.”
