The actor seems to enjoy making such revelations to his fans by way of social media. He did the same just last week when revealing that Cyrus Arnold would play Derek Zoolander Jr. And he also released pictures of himself and co-star Owen Wilson in character to let people know that they had begun filming.

There is no word yet, however, on what Cruz’s character will be.

Stiller will direct the sequel, as he did the original. Will Ferrell will reprise his role as Mugatu and Stiller’s wife Christine Taylor will also be returning for the sequel. So will Owen Wilson.

The cast will include Kristen Wig.

Zoolander 2 will follow 13 years after its original, and will depict the lives of the models a decade later, as they are finding ways to remain relevant. An opposing company attempts to take them out from the business.

Due out in February 2016, the movie will be filming for 12 weeks in Rome.
