Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller has made a revelation about his upcoming sequel to” Zoolander” which will, surprisingly, be called “Zoolander 2.” The movie will feature Zoolander’s teenage son Derek Jr. who will be played by Cyrus Arnold.

Stiller made the revelation by posting to Instagram a picture of himself in character driving a convertible with Arnold in the passenger seat. The picture came with the caption, “Meet @cyrusarnold. Son of Derek. #Zoolander2.”

Arnold posting the same picture himself on Instagram saying, “It’s out!!! I am playing Ben Stiller’s son in “Zoolander 2”!! So happy to share the news with all of you!!”

Arnold is a relative newcomer with only a handful of guest appearances on television shows under his belt.

Stiller will direct the sequel, as he did the original. Will Ferrell will reprise his role as Mugatu and Stiller’s wife Christine Taylor will also be returning for the sequel. So will Owen Wilson.

The cast will include Penélope Cruz and Kristen Wig.

Zoolander 2 will follow 13 years after its original, and will depict the lives of the models a decade later, as they are finding ways to remain relevant. An opposing company attempts to take them out from the business.

Due out in February 2016, the movie will be filming for 12 weeks in Rome.
