Instagram Introduces New Color Editing Feature

As with all new tech, companies need to constantly offer upgrades and new services if they are to retain their customer base

Instagram

Instagram is introducing a new Color and Fade feature to its app. Users will soon be able to add or remove colors from their pictures before loading them to their Facebook pages.

People will be able to use the new Color tool to tint the highlights or shadows in a photo. They will have the option to choose from yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan or green to add a “colorful flair” to the moments they share. The Fade tool will allow users to bring a quiet tone to their photos by softening colors.

As with all new tech, companies need to constantly offer upgrades and new services if they are to retain their customer base. Whiz kids around the world are coming up with the next new app every day and even if your company is owned by Facebook it is not immune from competition.

Instagram for Android version 6.19.0 is available today on Google Play, and Instagram for iOS version 6.10.0 will be available in a few days in Apple’s App Store.
