Female Startup Entrepreneurs to Gather in Arava Desert Retreat

Some 75 leading female startup entrepreneurs will gather in in an undisclosed location in the Arava desert, in the South of Israel, for an exceptional three-day retreat.

This unique experience is intended to connect and empower talented and ambitious young women from the startup industry. Through this gathering, the organizers aim to have more women at the helm of the technology industry worldwide. The Elevation W project is powered by Schusterman Connection Points, Nielsen Innovate, Start-Up Nation Central and Basis Technology.

Among the entrepreneurs attending Elevation W will be Anat Segal CEO of Xenia, Sonya Davidson, CEO of HD Energy Now, Nurit Shevi, Founder and CEO at MXIMO Mobile, Noa Segev, Co-founder and CEO at 1item and Ronnie Ceder, community lead at WeWork Israel. Elevation W participants hail from 9 countries- Vietnam, United States, Israel, China, Kenya, Denmark, Sweden, South Africa and Holland.

Following the retreat 20 selected participants from Elevation W will be incubated at Nielsen innovate’ s office space to work on their startups, meet industry leaders, mentors and investors with the purpose of increasing the number of women led startups in the Israeli industry. This follow-up program in Partnership with Esther Barak Landes, CEO of Nielsen Innovate.
