The Brainnovations Startup Launchpad offers entrepreneurs with promising ideas in the braintech space and early-stage startups a four-month focused educational program that includes a series of lectures and workshops in key areas of entrepreneurship, as well as mentoring by industry leaders and neuro-experts. Participating projects will also gain access to IBT’s international network of senior industry executives and investors and will receive support with team and board recruitment.
The program will culminate with a demo day in the presence of private and corporate investors.
The Braingels Angels Investor Network is an international network of angel investors with an interest in early-stage investment in braintech startups. IBT will manage the Braingels Network – providing deal flow sourcing, due diligence and investment support.
Both programs mark IBT’s commitment to creating, incubating and supporting braintech innovation from the earliest stages of research through development to the creation of successful companies.
“With the creation of the Brainnovations Startup Launchpad and Braingels Network, IBT has taken the next step in turning the ‘Startup Nation’ into the ‘Brain Nation, ‘” said Dr. Rafi Gidron, Founder and Chairman of IBT.
“We are creating the ideal environment for taking great neurotech ideas all the way from concept to market. From tackling brain-related ailments worldwide to creating the next big thing in brain-inspired computing, this is where we put our minds together – this is where it all begins.”
“Brain technology is the next great frontier with the potential to find solutions for some of the world’s most pressing brain-related health issues such as Alzheimer’s, depression and ADHD, ” said Miri Polachek, Executive Director of IBT.
“In order to take these ailments ‘head on, ‘ we need both research and industry. That is why IBT is so committed to both, and that is why Brainnovations and Braingels will be so crucial to creating the brain technology innovations of the future. Our heartfelt thanks to Ohad Shaked for his support which made Brainnovations possible.”
