Facebook is giving is 2 million advertisers the gift of convenience and efficiency with its mobile Ad Manager app that will enable everything from checking ad views to creating a new advertising campaign right on a smartphone as reported by techcrunch.
A few years ago, Facebook seemed to lack a mobile ad strategy, and now it is the industry leader. With so many advertisers, how can Facebook keep track of them all? Facebook Ad Manager, which was initially available as iOS, enables user to track results, check spending limits and ad expiration. The service allows advertisers to create an ad right on the phone and save changes.
This follows the success of Facebook’s Ad Manager mobile website, which had 800, 000 visitors per month. The app launches in the U.S. and will be released in other countries in a few weeks. Facebook is killing it with ads, and has grown its ad revenue 24% in the last quarter of 2014.
Meanwhile, Facebook is involved with spreading internet use to the four corners of the globe. Mark Zuckerberg’s charitable project, Internet.org, which increases access to users in the developing world, will not feature ads, according to CEO, who says the main challenge is to convince people that they even need the internet.
