The world’s two funniest Jewish women, Sarah Silverman and Chelsea Handler, teamed up for the Super Bowl. The two appear in an ad for T Mobile.
Close in age to one another, the two comics took different directions artistically. Silverman was once on the cast of Saturday Night Live and went into acting with her own short lived comedy on basic cable. Handler, in contrast, became only the second woman after the late great Joan Rivers, to try her hand in the late night talk show scene. She had a long running show on E.

In the ad the two are seen talking to one another on their cell phones and singing the praises of T Mobile services. They go from room to room in their respective homes to explain how they get great reception anywhere, only the rooms get more and more absurd.
As the two try to one up each other on how great their homes are Silverman is seen talking from her hydroponic kale garden followed by Handler in her subterranean petting zoo. Then Silverman speaks from her clearly empty but huge trophy room, followed by Handler in her figure skating basement and then back to Silverman in her delivery room basement where a couple just had a baby.
“’Working with Sarah was amazing because we really didn’t see each other, ” said Handler. She also tweeted, “Had the pleasure of one-upping @SarahKSilverman in an upcoming @TMobile #SB49 #ad. Here’s a little teaser.”
Silverman said, “’I feel like I was really able to be myself. I take what they give me and make it into gold. Chelsea takes gold and makes it into a Chelsea thing.”
About the big game Silverman tweeted, “Get ready for the #SUPERBOWL by watchin Sam (as in Samantha) Gordon’s football highlights y’all! http://www.whosay.com/l/BPBa6dQ.”
She also tweeted, “Just chillin at home, marrying my hand sanitizers, ” and “Forget your troubles come on get happy/ vigorously masturbate all your cares away.”
