Penn, 54, is the grandson of Jewish immigrants from Lithuania and Russia on his father’s side and Theron is 39. A source described as close to Theron told People Magazine “Charlize and Sean are very serious. Charlize says this is it. Jackson already calls Sean ‘Daddy.’ ”

“[Charlize] likes guys with more substance. She finds Sean very charming and he makes her laugh, ” a source told PEOPLE last year. “She definitely has him wrapped around her finger.”

And a source told US Weekly, “Sean always knew that to truly earn a place in Charlize’s heart, connecting with Jackson was one of the most important parts.” The couple might also be considering adopting a child together.

Penn has two children of his own, both in their twenties, from his ex-wife Robin Wright.
