Miss Lebanon, Saly Greige claims she was photobomed by Miss Israel, Doron Matalon when asked to answer for the fact that the beauty queen from an enemy country appeared on her selfie, as reported by the Daily Star.
Saly Greige was crowned as Miss Lebanon during a ceremony in October. The green-eyed, brunette beauty is competing in the Miss Universe pageant being held in Miami, but Greige has been threatened that she might lose her title for allowing herself to be photographed with Miss Israel, who represents a hostile nation, according to Lebanese authorities.

Griege defended herself on the El-Nashra entertainment website and on social media, and accused Matalon of repeatedly attempting to be photographed with her. The suspicion that Matalon’s motives were not to further world peace, but to get Greige in hot water back home. A storm erupted when the photo of Greige, along with the beauty contestants from Slovenia, Japan and Israel, were circulated across Lebanon. According to Lebanese law, it is illegal for Lebanese to have contact with the Jewish state.
“From the very first day I arrived at the Miss Universe pageant, I was very careful not to take any pictures with Miss Israel who repeatedly tried to take pictures with me, ” Greige explained. “While I was preparing with Miss Slovania and Miss Japan to get our photograph taken, Miss Israel jumped in and took a selfie with her phone and posted it on social media. This is what happened. I hope you continue supporting me.”
