Roman Abramovitch Takes The Stand As Boris Berezovsky Sues Him For Billions

Russian billionaire and Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has been a wanted man before, particularly by Jose Mourinho, who became Chelsea’s manager in 2004. In the book, The Key to Mendes, the secret of the biggest football agent in the world,  Mourino tells the story of how Jorge Mendes was a killer agent who was the only one to fulfill Mourinho’s one request, “Go and organize a meeting with Roman Abramovich, ” reports the Daily Mail.

Apparently, Abramovich was sought after not only by the Chelsea manager, but celebrity partiers on St. Barts, as the billionaire hosted a lavish New Years’ party at La Plage restaurant on the island. Forbes reports that it was a star studded event with Rihanna, Leonardo Di Caprio, Chris Rock, Lana Del Rey, Jon Bon Jovi, Salma Hayek, Tobey Maguire and Kevin Connolly in attendance.
