Chinese computer manufacturer Lenovo will open a research and development department in Israel, Calcalist has reported.
Ornit Shinar, the former head of the Citibank accelerator and representative for Sony in Israel, was named by Lenovo to head the new Israeli division. Shinar will serve as director of business development and external investment, and employment screening new technologies from outside the company
