Kenya Barris is not happy with Judd Apatow. The creator of the new hit comedy series “Black-ish” feels that the famed writer/director should just shut up already about Bill Cosby.
Apatow has gone on a Twitter tirade against Cosby due to all of the rape allegations that have been made against the iconic comic. He seems to have made it his personal mission to keep Cosby from continuing to work.

Apatow has tweeted things like, “Are you really going to let Bill Cosby perform on your stage January 7?” in reference to Cosby’s upcoming performances at Toronto’s Center in the Square and London, Ontario’s Budweiser Gardens. He was also quoted as saying, ““Is Cosby only popular in Ontario Canada at this point? Do people still find him delightful after 30 accusers?”
Barris has also taken to Twitter, but to vent against Apatow. “Dude. Enough. Not defending [Cosby] at all, but u do realize this borders on strangely obsessive, right? Where was ur #EricGarner[?]”
And, “I mean ur [Apatow] a comedy god but u have an extremely narrowband and privileged scope for ur powerful rage. He’s probably a monster…”
Apatow responded, “I don’t know if his criticism of me is accurate. I just hate rapists. But we look like the exact same person!”
On Wednesday Barris tweeted, “I hate rapists. I hate Twitter. And most of all I hate how I look.”
Barris also went after Apatow for how he depicts black people in his movies tweeting, “and stop showing the most fucked off 1 sided view of black people n every thing you ever do.” And, “but ur depiction of them & lack of true context 2 these characters in ur personal life makes ur Cosby (fuck him) remarks odd.”
“Black-ish, ” which premiered in the fall, is about how a black family man deals with living in a white suburban area.
