A Look at the Top 10 Hottest Jewish Women of 2014

Scarlett Johansson lucy

Shalom Life released its top 50 hottest Jewish women (we’ll just deal with the top ten), and the top of the list is not surprising. Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis and are in the number one and number 2 spots. No wonder,   the media can’t seem to get enough of them. Scarlett is notable, not just for her high-profile acting roles, but standing up to Oxfam when it sacked her over doing a commercial for SodaStream and raising the ire of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction movement against Israel. Mila Kunis of course is always in the news with her sweetheart Ashton Kutcher, among rumors of Kutcher’s ex Demi Moore inflicting her kindness on the couple and wanting to be involved in the life of their baby, Wyatt.

Dianna Agron, of Savannah Georgia is in the number 3 position, and is known for her roles Drake & Josh, Glee and The Family. Israela Avtau, Ethiopian Israeli model is number 4. She was the face of Avon, Factory 54, and is the second highest rated Israeli model after Bar Rafaeli, who is number 5. We all know about Bar Rafaeli, but what we might not know is that a nationalist organization in Israel urged her to end her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio for the sake of “future generations of Jews.”

The fascinating Neri Oxman is number 6. She is an architect, biologist, designer and engineer, is one of ICON’s most successful architects and was listed as one of the world’s 100 most creative people. Oxman was part of a group of scientist who designed clothing that could enable humans to live on other planets.

Former Miss Israel and Fast & Furious star Gal Gadot is at number 7. She was involved in Maxim’s Models of the IDF. She stirred up controversy over her appearance in an ad for Castro clothing which some Knesset members deemed pornographic. Another Israeli model, Bar Paly is at number 8, and she has starred in Pain & Gain and Million Dollar arm. Harvard grad Megan Amram is number 9. Amram is known for her zany humor and “Science….for Her!”  textbook which includes passages with headings, “Tips for hosting your own big bang…organism vs. orgasm.” Emmy Rossum is at number 10, and she is known for as an opera singer who performed in Phantom of the Opera.
