Etan Cohen’s Directorial Debut to Star Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart

"Men In Black 3" New York Premiere - Inside Arrivals

The first trailer has been released for screenplay writer Etan Cohen’s feature film debut as a director “Get Hard” which will star Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart and Alison Brie.

In the film, Ferrell plays millionaire businessman James King who is on his way to jail for ten years having been convicted of fraud. Ferrell’s character has been given a thirty day grace period before he must surrender himself to the prison. King assumes that Darnell Lewis (Hart) has been to prison simply because he is black and so he hires Lewis to prepare him for prison life.

Alison Brie – who is Jewish – plays Ferrell’s sexy girlfriend.

Cohen was born in Israel to an Orthodox Jewish family and grew up in Efrat. He is a graduate of Harvard where he got his first writing experience contributing to that school’s renowned Harvard Lampoon. Cohen has previously written such hit films as Tropic Thunder and Men in Black Three and for television show like King of the Hill and American Dad.
