Adrien Brody Goes Apartment Shopping, Appears at Pirelli Event

Oscar winner Adrien Brody was seen apartment hunting in Manhattan this week. He has also joined Jameson’s talent search competition, First Shot, and served as the master of ceremonies for the 2015 Pirelli Calendar gala in Milan.

According to the NY Post, Brody checked out a penthouse at the Residences at W New York Downtown which were developed by the Moinan Group. There he looked at apartment in the $2-3 million range.

Located at 123 Washington Street, the building is a hotel with residences located from its 23d to its 56th floor. Meanwhile, the actor will take part in the fourth season of First Shot and appear in the movie made from the winning screenplay. Brody said that the competition is, “an important gift, the confidence to exercise fearlessness and the opportunity to materialize their dreams.” He will be joined by Kevin Spacey who has also signed on to the project.

And Brody sported a beard at the Pirelli event which he grew for the movie which he is currently filming where he will portray Holy Roman Emperor Charles V. he told the crowd that he’s, “Charles V by day, Adrien Brody by night. “Please excuse the beard.”

“I like to put on a suit once in a while and have fun, ” he said about the dark Dolce&Gabbana three-piece suit with tuxedo trousers which he wore to the event.
