Donald Trump Slams Durst Over 1WTC’s Rat Infestation

Donald Trump has added his voice to the mounting criticism being leveled against how the Durst Organization is managing the all new 1 World Trade Center. The office tower’s first tenant, Conde Nast, was greeted by a host of rats when it became the first to move in the new office tower trecently.

A source from the publication company told the New York Daily News, “A bunch [of rats] ate through the ceiling of a sports editor’s office and crawled all over his desk and left poops on his keyboard. They ate through his rug to fit under his door.”

Staffers were told not to eat at their desks.

“Don’t dis the Donald, ” went the saying back when Trump was at his height in the 80’s only apparently the Donald can dis you.

The Donald shot off a barrage of tweets against Durst’s handling of 1WTC writing, “Durst is a terrible manager. Tenants furious.” “Endless security checks (at 1 WTC).”

“Conde Nast made a big mistake going into the World Trade Center. The Place is a total disaster and I feel this is only the beginning.” And “Durst is a disaster at operating the new World Trade Center. It takes forever for workers or visitors to get in with impossible security. ”

About the security issues, Trump told the New York Post, “If you go to meet somebody at Condé Nast it takes 25, 30 minutes to go through security.”?

“You have to have security, yes, but you don’t want to be a tenant. People find it very unacceptable.”

In November Vogue staffers refused to move in because of the rat problem.
