From the film’s official description: “When disgraced New York Times reporter Michael Finkel meets accused killer Christian Longo — who has taken on Finkel’s identity — his investigation morphs into an unforgettable game of cat and mouse. Based on actual events, Finkel’s relentless pursuit of Longo’s true story encompasses murder, love, deceit, and redemption.”

To be held in Park City Utah, the 31st Sundance Film festival will take place January 22nd to February 1st 2015.

Directed by Rupert Goold and written by Finkel and David Kajganich, True Story is due out on April 15, 2015.
