David Ellison’s LANAI Charging $300 for a Hoodie

Trust a billionaire’s son to come up with a brand that sells t-shirts for $70 and hoodies for nearly $300. But who knows, they may be worth every penny.

Oracle founder Larry Ellison’s son David isn’t so busy with producing films that he doesn’t have time to add his vision to a new fashion brand inspired by the Hawaiian Island his dad bought, LANAI, according to Business Insider.

David Ellison, producer of “Star Trek Into Darkness, ” “World War Z” and “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” wanted top quality clothing that “moves between work, play and adventure without changing their nature, ” a spokesperson told Business Insider.

And to prove he combine films and fashion, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be wearing LANAI in the upcoming Terminator film, which will be produced by David Ellison’s Skydance.
